Jack Bauer, 24, will be made into a movie

20th Century Fox has confirmed that television’s 24 will be turned into a full length feature film that will be set in Europe.
Billy Ray has been commissioned by the studio to write the script for the 24 film and is known lately for his work on the script of ‘State of Play.’
In the past Jack Bauer, the star of the television series portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland has been seen on missions in New York and Africa.
The television production team of 24 will also be involved in the film with the creators of the series, Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, executive producing alongside current show runner Howard Gorden.

“24″ worked because it was in real time. It’s charm might not translate to the big screen. I hope Billy Ray knows what he’s doing. Kiefer should do well on the big screen, though.
